Nova TV Group first in Croatia for yet another year
 20 Jan 2026
In 2025, Nova TV Group reaffirmed its status as the undisputed leader on the Croatian television market. Within the commercial target audience (18-59), the Group was convincingly the most watched, achieving a 36.6% SHR in prime time and 31.4% on a full-day basis. Nova TV Group was the only FTA broadcaster in 2025 to record growth in both key segments: prime time (+6%) and full day (+7%), the broadcaster reports.

Nova TV concluded 2025 as the strongest individual channel in Croatia, with a 28.6% audience share in prime time and 21.7% on a full-day basis. The Group’s excellent results were further driven by its second free-to-air (FTA) channel, Doma TV, which once again secured its position as the most-watched specialized channel in Croatia (9.7% SHR full day; 8.0% SHR primetime).

The excellent performance is a combination of a daily local drama series – featuring two titles in primetime – and high-end entertainment productions. Best Men (32.7% SHR) and For Better or Worse (30.6% SHR) secured primetime dominance alongside the central news program, Dnevnik (27.2% SHR).

In addition to two successful primetime series, the spring season brought excellent results for the daily late primetime program Survivor, which, featuring new host Vlado Boban, achieved a 26.4% audience share. Big primetime entertainment on Nova TV continued through the weekend with I Can See Your Voice airing on Fridays (31.7% SHR) and Your Face Sounds Familiar (35.9% SHR) airing on Sundays. In the fall, the primetime cooking reality show MasterChef remained the clear leader over its competition with a 34.7% SHR.

One of the most successful seasons belonged to the 12th season of Got Talent, which averaged a 44.8% SHR. For the first time in the history of big entertainment in Croatia, the grand finale was broadcast live from the nation's largest arena in front of more than 10.000 spectators. On the eve of Christmas, the final episode captured nearly half of all viewers within the 18-59 demographic (46.2% SHR) and reached over 1.1 million viewers in the total population (4+).
