CEENATPE Budapest pauses 2026 market
NATPE has made the decision not to proceed with NATPE Budapest in 2026, as the organization focuses its strategic efforts on the continued development of its flagship North American market, NATPE Global in Miami.
Brunico CEO Russell Goldstein says the decision to pause NATPE Budapest 2026 reflects the impact of change affecting the entertainment industry globally, adding that “with the continued proliferation of industry markets in Europe, we’ve decided to focus on North America, where we can create scale.” “For the past three years we’ve deeply appreciated the CEE’s support for this market,” says NATPE Executive Director Claire Macdonald. “We are proud of the programs we’ve been able to produce in collaboration with our industry partners and hope to continue those relationships as we focus on NATPE Global.” Macdonald adds, “I would like to acknowledge our deep gratitude to the advisory board members who have shared so much of their passion for the region and industry with us.” The theme for the next edition of NATPE Global, which runs Feb. 4-6, 2026 in Miami, is Convergence, and brings global media leaders together with the next generation of collaborators, from brands to creators, to explore partnering opportunities across the broadcast and streaming mediascape.
