NEM Zagreb announces NEM Awards 2025 jury
 22 Oct 2025
One of the pillars of NEM Zagreb, NEM Awards, once again celebrates excellence in television projects from the CEE region. Now in its fifth edition, the awards will honor projects in two categories: Best Finished TV series in the CEE and Best Pre-Development TV Series in Europe.

Submissions are still open, and there’s still time to apply, with the final deadline being November 11th. All entries will be reviewed by a panel of distinguished TV professionals, including chief content officers, producers, acquisition managers, and screenwriters, who bring extensive experience and an independent outlook to the judging process.

As in previous editions, the NEM Awards once again gather top television professionals to evaluate the projects. The first confirmed jury members have been announced: Emmanuel Eckert, independent producer; Krisztina Gallo, producer, 318 Productions; Nataša Buljan, Fiction Development Director, United Media; Lenka Szántó, Creative Producer, TV Nova/Oneplay; Alexandra Gabrižová, Program Coordinator & Consultant, MIDPOINT Institute's series programs; Filip Bobinski, Producer, Showrunner, CEO, Dramedy Productions; Marie Roussin, writer, producer, showrunner; Blanca Escoda Agusti, Script Consultant, Decoding Stories; Neus Rodriguez, script consultant; Danna Stern, global content executive; Carlo Dusi, Founder and Managing Director, Turning Point Pictures; Maria Kivinen, Director of Sales & Co-Productions, Norse Key Studios; Erik Pack, SVP, Global Co-Production, Boat Rocker Studios; Kelly Alchanati, Head of Fiction & Entertainment, Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation Sa (E.R.T. Sa); Todor Ignatov, Head of “Cinema and Foreign programs” department, Bulgarian National Television; and Caroline Levy, Series Producer, Playground Entertainment.

When it comes to the Best Finished TV series in the CEE category, the jury consists of top professionals from the AV industry outside the CEE region, ensuring fairness in rating the TV series.

For the first time, a member of the NEM Awards jury will be Carlo Dusi, Founder and Managing Director at Turning Point Pictures, known for the hit series Taboo and the film The Aftermath. He expresses great enthusiasm about joining the jury: “As a great believer in international coproductions and the wealth of talent working across Europe, I have kept a keen eye on the NEM Awards for the past four years as an essential barometer of the creatives and stories we should all be tracking across Central and Eastern Europe. I am delighted to have the opportunity to join this year’s jury and dive into the selection of projects selected for the Awards, and can’t wait to be wowed by the talent on show.”

The award will be given in two main categories, Best Finished TV series in the CEE and Best Pre-Development TV Series in Europe. So far, the confirmed contestants who are competing for the prestigious recognition are: Bionaut, Raketa and CANAL+; Bulgarian National Television (BNT); Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT); ERT S.A. Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation; Radio Television of Serbia (RTS); Suspilne Ukraine and Mir & Co.Production; Telewizja Polska (TVP); TV Nova/Oneplay; TVN Warner Bros. Discovery; and Viaplay Group.
