Inter Medya acquires global distribution rights for Halef
 23 Sep 2025
Inter Medya has acquired the international distribution rights to Halef, one of the most anticipated and talked-about dramas of the new television season.

Produced by Most Production and guided by acclaimed producer Gül Oğuz, Halef distinguishes itself with a powerful cast and a storyline that blends high drama with emotional depth.

Starring İlhan Şen, Aybüke Pusat, and Biran Damla Yılmaz, the series draws audiences into a universe of love, passion, secrets, and revenge from its very first episode.

The show premiered on Thursday, September 18, on NOW TV, delivering the highest-rated debut of the September 2025 season in the Total 5+ demographic, with an impressive 4.44 rating and 13.22 share. The first episode of the series reached 6.1M views on YouTube in a very short time.

In Şanlıurfa, a city rich in history and tradition, Halef unfolds a story of family roots, heritage, and long-buried secrets. At its heart is Serhat, a young man caught between two women, whose choices spark unexpected twists and emotional reckonings. More than a love story, Halef is a powerful drama about belonging, loyalty, and power of destiny.

“Halef is a drama with a rare mix of authenticity and universal appeal,” said Can Okan, Founder and CEO of Inter Medya. “It tells a story of strong emotions and deep conflicts, beautifully produced by Most Production and set against the unique backdrop of Şanlıurfa. Its premiere on NOW has already won over local audiences, and we are excited to carry that momentum to the international stage. We believe Halef has all the ingredients to build a long and successful journey worldwide.”
