![]() Netflix premieres new Turkish film produced by OGM Pictures
Netflix has announced the release date of Abandoned Man, a poignant story about a man seeking to confront his past and rebuild his life, accompanied by new images and a clip from the film. Beginning with the innocence of a child, the film explores the power of second chances, family bonds, and forgiveness through an emotional and compelling narrative. Abandoned Man will premiere exclusively on Netflix on August 22.
Baran, a man whose broken soul even time itself can’t repair, wants to build a new life after serving a sentence for a crime committed by his brother, a burden placed upon him by his family. His life has never been easy, and it will not change after he is released from prison. The repair shop he wants to open to hold onto his dreams and life, the accident his family experienced, and his niece Lidya, who breaks down his walls, will help him rebuild his new life. Despite every mishap, his struggle for Lidya and himself will mend Baran's life and his damaged childhood. Metruk Adam, directed by Çağrı Vila Lostuvalı and written by Deniz Madanoğlu together with Murat Uyurkulak, stars Mert Ramazan Demir in the lead role of Baran.
