STB plans to re-broadcast titles which were shot in Russian in the Ukrainian language, as confirmed by General Director Liudmyla Semchuk in an interview with Detector Media.

"Feature films will be released exclusively in Ukrainian. We will duplicate and voiceover Russian-language content. Of course, we appreciate the cast: it is important for us that the actors are on the side of Ukraine in this war. We immediately abandoned the content, which includes actors who supported the aggression," she said.

Semchuk added that now the channel broadcasts only melodramas, and humorous series, "as an inexpedient genre now," postponed until the end of hostilities.

According to the language ombudsman, as of June 2021, two thirds of the series on the largest Ukrainian TV channels were in Russian.
