The new TV channel Solovyov.Live, founded by journalist Vladimir Solovyov (known as Putin’s main propagandist in Russia), will broadcast from April 7 on the frequency of the former Euronews channel, which was blocked on March 21 by Roskomnadzor.

The themes of the new channel are announced as information-political, socio-political, journalistic and socio-economic.

The website of the Euronews TV channel was blocked in accordance with Article 15.3 of the Federal Law "On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection". It regulates the procedure for restricting access to sites that contain calls for riots, extremist activities or participation in illegal public events.

Earlier this week, The Moscow Times reported that there are a small fire at one of Solovyov’s villas near Lake Como in Italy. The property was seized last month by Italian financial police as part of sweeping Western sanctions on those close to Putin.
