The Czech technology company Hybrid Company has supported the broadcasting of Ukraine’s public television. It has created an application for Smart TVs, which launches a live broadcast of Suspilne with news and journalism.

The application is available worldwide for the Android TV operating system and will soon appear in a version for Samsung and LG TVs. Approval by platform operators is time consuming, but in this case it is record fast and a priority.

At the same time, an interface for HbbTV broadcasting was created, which the live stream of Suspilne is also incorporated into. It is up to broadcasters around the world to include this feature in their "red button" as a gesture of solidarity. The application is freely available at www.mihybrid.com/ukraine.

"The situation in Ukraine is critical and when you see Ukrainian broadcasters under fire, it is only a matter of time before television news will be available. At the same time, there are a lot of people who fled before the war and have no news from home," Lukáš Hnilička, head of Hybrid Company, commented.
