Angel's Trumpets, a story idea from Katalin Besenyei, won the big prize at Hypewriter Pitch Forum Season 3, created by Paprika Studios and RTL Hungary. She has been awarded 10.000 euros and the production budget for pilot development and filming.

Angel's Trumpets is about Anna and Jázmin, former victims of sex trafficking who are now living in a shelter in Hungary. After they learn that Jázmin’s sister, the 15-year old Bella was most likely sold off to the same mafia as they were, the girls escape the shelter at night and embark on a journey to save her and to fight for their well-deserved freedom - even if that means revenge.

The international jury featured RTL Hungary Deputy CEO and Program Director Péter Kolosi, Oscar nominated film director Ildikó Enyedi, the Program Director of market leading Slovenian POP TV Branko Čakarmiš, Czech writer extraordinaire Petr Kolecko and Paprika Studios creative director Bence Trunkó.

Additionally, the Bulgarian project Gold War has been awarded the 'Fast Track Award' by Hypewriter's Estonian festival partner TV Beats to participate at the finals of their next event in Tallinn. Sandra Becerril's Queens of Horror idea from Mexico and the Hungarian project Superheroes on Mininum Wage each received a 'Jury's Special Mention Award' for their outstanding story ideas.

Hypewriter thanked all 450 writers from 38 countries who sent us submissions this year, and especially all Finalists who pitched their great stories to a jury and audience at the pitch forum.

Also, Péter Kolosi announced at the pitch forum that 2019 Hypewriter winner Golden Age is becoming a full television series, to be produced by Paprika Studios for RTL Hungary.
