At CEETV we are always happy to break the news first to our readers and months later see them in the official press releases of the distributors and 'break' on to other news platforms. Yesterday was another one of those days as 20th Century Fox Television Distribution announced officially that This Is Us is getting a remake in Turkey.

CEETV was first to report the news back in July that the big US hit will be adapted by Medyapim for Fox Turkey.

We also reported that Merve Girgin will serve as director and Deniz Madanoğlu is adapting the scripts for the Turkish version which will be starring Songül Öden, Birkan Sokullu and Olgun Toker.

The series will premiere in October. FNG Content Distribution has acquired the distribution rights to the Turkish adaptation and will sell the local version internationally.
