SPI/FilmBox are increasing presence in the Baltics with a launch of FilmBox brand channels on SIA Lattelecom and SIA Livas in Latvia.

Lattelecom, the biggest telecom operator in Latvia, will offer FilmBox Baltic, a film channel, which will be part of the movie package. Lattelecom will also include Fast&FunBox, an extreme sports channel, in the sports package.

Another Latvian cable operator Livas has recently signed a distribution agreement with SPI. Livas will offer FilmBox Baltic in their basic digital package and also FightBox in the sports package.

FilmBox Baltic is one of the newest channels in the SPI portfolio. It is a movie channel that presents a great variety of films: dramas, comedies, thrillers, biographies, horrors and many more. FilmBox Baltic features some of the most popular American movies starring such famous actors as: Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Elizabeth Hurley, Tom Hanks, Adam Sandler and Billy Bob Thornton among many others.
